The Street Basketball Association officially announces a deal to Co-Direct and Co- Produce exclusive street ball video footage featuring several SBA All-stars for Ocelot Production's, upcoming DVD, "Book of Cool." The SBA will work directly with UK based Ocelot directing and orchestrating the video shoot at RuckerPark and at Brooklyn Hoops.
The footage captured by Ocelot's production crew will include highlight clips of SBA All-stars Hugh "Baby Shaq" Jones, Andre "Silk" Poole, Pat-"Da-Roc" Robinson, Rashid "Seven and Some Change" Byrd, Brian "X-Rated" Mills, and Pep "Harlem World" Tyson playing 3-3, 2-2, and 1-1. In addition, the SBA All-stars will demonstrate the latest individual street ball tricks with verbal instructions on how to execute the moves, choreograph a free-style dribbling expo featuring young phenom Pat "Da-Roc", film a segment focusing on "Baby Shaq's" 50 inch vertical with a number of high-flying dunks from the human highlight, and concluding with the SBA All-stars dominating a three game series of street ball games against some of the top players from Brooklyn.
Ocelot's "Book of Cool" DVD will include footage from some of the most exciting and "coolest" sports on the planet from skateboarders, to in-line skaters, to surfers, to yo-yo masters, to baton twillers, to hang-gliders, to mountain BMX bikers, and other elements from the exciting action sports industry. The combination of the SBA Street Ball highlights with the alternative action sports footage is expected to be a popular DVD as the "Book of Cool" is first to be released and distributed throughout Europe, then moving on to North and South America. " We are excited to part of the 'Book of Cool' and feel our presence on the DVD will ultimately help overall sales as well as give the SBA additional worldwide exposure," states Director of Basketball, Matthew Rosner.
