The SBA All-Stars were selected to represent the US to participate in La Reunion’s Run Ball International Street Basketball Tournament.  The SBA competed against a number of professional players and teams from France, Africa, and La Reunion.  In addition, as part of the SBA’s International Basketball Development Program the SBA conducted a series of “Practice with the Pros” basketball clinics and Pat Da Roc’s “Anything is Possible” SBA’s Speaking Ambassadors presentation.

The Run Ball International Basketball Tournament was sanctioned and supported by Reve De Sport, a French Sports organization, the French Basketball Federation, and Canal+ Sport.  La Reunion is a beautiful French Island off the coast of Africa that established a strategic alliance with the SBA to promote the sport of basketball throughout the Island.

SBA All-Stars Hugh “Baby Shaq” Jones, Patrick “Pat Da-Roc” Robinson, Dave “Da Aggressor” Bailey, and Myron “Airborne” Howe were the headlined players for the US squad who put on a show for the fans of La Reunion.

The SBA would like to thank Reve De Sport for partnering with the SBA to represent the US utilizing the SBA All-Stars as a marketing vehicle to develop the sport of basketball and spread the “Anything is Possible” positive message to the youth of the Island.
