Washington, DC July 12th, 2014 – For the past thirteen years the Street Basketball Association has spearheaded the growth and development of grassroots basketball in the United States and globally, producing a number of SBA Basketball and Entertainment Properties featuring the top SBA All-Stars, Basketball Legends, and current All-Star Players.  Now, the SBA is headed to China with First Team Superstar James Harden!  

In the continued efforts to market the sport of basketball all over the world, The SBA International Federation and SBA Sports Worldwide are partnering with Urban Fable Basketball, one of the largest grassroots sanctioned basketball organizations in Mainland China to promote the sport with appearances and events. The SBA and Urban Fable are co-producing special events, basketball clinics, and promotional appearances in Beijing, China on July 19, 2014 featuring Superstar James Harden.  In addition, James Harden and the SBA will visit the Great Wall as well as travel to many historic and magical places of Beijing initiating a number of cross-cultural exchanges and opportunities with fans, companies, government officials, sponsors, media outlets, and television.  

SBA Sports Worldwide and the Street Basketball Association continue to leverage relationships with former Legends and current All-Star players, corporate partners, sports agencies, entertainment industry and television production contacts as it seeks to grow its position as a leader in premier basketball development, exhibitions, and marketing throughout the world. James Harden’s July visit to China marks another step in the SBA’s strategic positioning in preparation for additional international events as well as the Launch of an end of the summer basketball challenge initiative here in the United States featuring SBA Pro Street Ball Teams representing 8-12 cities.
